Amazing how small shape the female artists were back then..Angela Winbush, Phylis Hyman, Angela Bofill, Minnie Ripperton, etc.Now these new female artists shape are thicker and chunky looking...Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Ashanti, etc.

I'm 36, grew up in the 70's and 80's. I love the music back during those years and the years before my time in the 60's. I have a "old soul" when it comes down to music.

Man o man I wish music was like this again.A fat base line with great voices and lyrics on top of it.The 80,s was the time of the great R&b duos,Aurra,Peachea and herb,Ashford and simpson,yarborough and peoples,etc.

JRock005, you may be a mere 21 years of age, but you know good music when you hear it. There are some good new artists coming out now. It will never be the same, still it is good. bring back the 80s mentality in making music please, bband q band ,sherrick ,lilo thomas,william bell ,viola wills, maze,kenny berkue,the tunes they made then are unpasserble the shit they make today is forgetable and back then the tecnoligy was bog standard they were true artists.... |
