He's making up notes... he is a great player but he does not read from sheet music. You people use the excuse that he is old but what others are saying is that he did not memorize the music. Segovia played much better than this man when he was about 10 years older.

Alirio Diaz simplemente es un maestro magnifico de la guitarra, es un ejemplo a seguir. Fue el sucesor de Andres Segovia, en la Catedra y en el impulso de este maravilloso instrumento. Hay personas que aùn no lo conocen y es una verdadera lastima.

Alirio Diaz la guitarra de lmundo fue catalogado en la decada de lso 60 como el mejor guitarrista del mundo es un magnifico guitarrista, lean informense y despues hablen mano derecha de lpadre de la guitarra el que la llevo a donde esta la populariso el maestro Andres Segovia

Uno de los momentos en mi vida que jamas podre olvidar ocurrio cuando el Maestro Alirio Diaz en pleno concierto y simplemente por complacer al publico toco "El Diablo Suelto"......Caramba, Inigualable,a ti Alirio, MIL GRACIAS.

If he is 83, his performance is outstanding (nowithstanding the errors which do not alter the overall impression). But his mastership should not come as a surpsise since he has been a great musician for all his performing years. He plays the first prelude, no. 3, much less romanticized than most of the other players and much more lively, which I find adequate and musically inspiring. Great Alirio Diaz... I saw him many years ago when he was in the prime of his musical vigour!
