i got a honda 05, and race agaisnt my cuzins 07 yamaha and i beat him by like a bike stock on stock so i think that rumor bout 06s having 5hp more is a load of crap

Depends, the 04-05 450rs turn beter but are about 5hp lower than 06 and up plus the 06 and up have the bad ass fcr carburator thats the closest thing a carb will get to fuel injection. All the hondas in stock trim bog down but 80% of the winners ride em. The yfz has best power outa the box and sits lower for cornering. BUT its spinns out like crazy cause it cant get the power to the ground. If u want eventual awsome power and accleration pick honda. handling pick yamaha
