I'm in the US, so over the new version of the show is actually less well know than the old school, which is kind of ironic.I personally like Chris Eccleston the most.

Postscript,You're absolutely right, you'll get no argument from me. Every time they change Doctors, people complain. I must say though, that in England, the new show is most popular with the young folks. I'm only 27, so I'm not that much older, but I grew up with Baker as the doc. TOM BAKER FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!

I dunno man, I was never old enough to see the old-school Doctor, so for me I grew up with the new one and trust me, it's not a kid-fad at all. Trust me, I bet there were people saying the same thing about the doctor who you watched when they compared it to the 60s Doctor.Doctor Who will always rock, no matter what form they put him in.

Maybe it's because this is the version of the song and the show that I grew up with, but I like this one the best. Yes, I'm glad I'm not the only who feels that Television is ruining all the old greats by trying to remake them. These days, Doctor Who is nothing but another Kid-fad like the power rangers or something.
