I don't doubt that but sorry it wont last... so enjoy as much as you can the time with him 'cos I'm sorry but is going to get worse and worse not better, I know, I knew someone with this illness that is no longuer here... so enjoy the precious moments with you friend, good luck.

My best friend has Alzheimers and he is da bomb!

Padude64 all you can do is be there to support your friend. My grampa just died of Alzheimers and it hurts to see him go, but he wont suffer anymore. In his advance stage of Alzheimers he wasn't able to take care of himself, and was like that for a year, or more. May he rest in peace. He died 4/24/2008.
