My yoga teacher friend suggests down dog with the rope, so you are really bringing your thighs and sacrum back. I think this is good, but sometimes you need a steeper incline, and don't forget the slight pelvic tilt that goes with the inversion but not down dog. Good question.

I noticed that an inversion looks a lot like the downward dog pose for yoga...would doing that move throughout pregnancy help with optimal fetal positioning? I am 25 weeks pregnant right now and have been doing yoga and was wondering if that would work as well. |
