Since you play the lute, I was wondering. What's the best type to play if you're really into the Middle Ages or sounds most like the Middle Ages? Please excuse my vagueness, I'm not really an expert on this. I want to start playing the lute but the problem is I don't know where to start. Thanks ahead of time.

Cool! Very nice interpretation with crystal clear voicing. Would prefer slower tempo though... It's a marvelous piece, Charles V really had a fine musical taste :-)
