The information here needs to get out to the general population. I am saddened when I hear people say they are on a Diabetes Diet and list the foods they eat. Then they wonder why their blood sugar is not stable and they are not losing excess body fat! I can only hope that more people watch this video and learn how they can improve this condition and improve their health.

Great video! A year ago, my dr. checked my blood and said I was borderline Type 2 diabetic. After I got my blood test results, I followed a good diet and have lost 36 lbs (and counting!)and have lowered my blood sugar to normal range. I also lowered my blood cholesterol and feel wonderful! I have a good dr. who knows that diabetes runs in my family and she checks my blood every year. Because of high blood sugar, I have changed my diet, exercise and just added years to my life.

It's good to hear someone mention insulin resistance. Most doctors don't know what it is, so I will be contacting Dr. Whiting to find out how to treat it.
