Personallt I think Nas destroys wayne in rap buh not many people like rap anymore their jus lookin for a gud beat and money and gurls. Dat why Weezy got dis battle. Im not diisin wayne but hell half the time he repeats his lyrics.

hip-hop will never get boring. it can advance, but not change what hip-hop truly is about.

That's comparing the best song on Nas's new album with the worst song on Wayne's. That shit doesn't prove anything or convince anyone. Sorry, but it's true. It's not like Wayne has collabed with Puff Daddy or R. Kelly, either. No doubt Nas is better by far, but when you hold Wayne to the same standard then you miss the appeal of his music.

I don't think he killed it. You're just another indignant purist who's jumped the "hate Wayne" bandwagon. I'm not saying he's particularly skilled, since he's not compared to many others, but his self-publicized name has drawn in a whole new generation of rap fans who were just giving up on it. No matter what you say, I know tons of people who have a renewed interest in rap music cuz of Wayne. He's far from killing it; he said himself he's the embalming fluid ;).
