What most people may not remember is that the little glowing ball or whatever did not remain inside Ultra Magnus. It ended up with Hot Rod, the orange guy standing by Prime's head. After he took it he became Rodimus Prime and assumed the role of leader for the Autobots....

jup let dead heroes give them their deserve rest and not keep bringen them back to not milk them to death like burned out celebrities. Have to admit it took alot of balls from the writers back then to kill off a major lead character. And make Optimus Prime death quiet epic and memorably. If OP didnt had that death scene, i guess he wouldnt be that big Icon he is today. C`mon kids death is part of life..even for heroes
