I WAS at that show,and it WAS a trip. It took place Feb. 8th 1996 at the Kansas Expocenter Topeka,KS. He even dissed Fred Phelps( who was otside the arena picketing) on stage. Trent said"What's up with the guy with the signs?My God doesn't hate fags"after which he broke into a feverish March of the Pigs.every time I see this vid I get chills, just knowing that somewhere on that very floor is my left my lonely adolescence.

i didnt say he discovered it. and its not like he waited 8 years just to cover it, its just that in his later years johnny cash was doing more covers from different genres to reinvent his music and he got rick rubin to be his new producer on the last couple of albums.
