I love a lot of movies and series, and other things my parents used to like(and im 14. My dad has showed me Patton, Where Eagles Dare, The great escape movies, and Hogans heroes from the 60s and 70s. He told me he watched it every saturday morning as a kid. i love the show. and this movie i love too, i think the ending is so sad, when her father dies, but im happy that she goes to the New York times at the end, and is adopted by the farmer. I love the show little house on the praire as well.

I loved this movie when I was a kid, but I was paranoid for years because my mom was a postal carrier and when Rainbird killed the mailman I got really upset and told my mom she was never allowed to stop and help anyone having "car trouble" on her route. Scarred for life I was by that scene!!

Shit, I hope Rainbird would be the same in the novel, with only one eye, a devastated face with a sadistic spirit.

I am still haunted by this movie from my childhood. The part where they promise the girl that her dad is leaving from the facility is fucked up. This movie might be somewhat old, but the theme is still current and still very relevant. All sci-fi aside and in the realm of paranormal, government experiments are very real and that is why I live by the Philosophy of Jason Bourne. |
