Co-sign....I'm amazed that the highest she got on the charts was #12, WTF? Prime of My Life alone should have gone multi-platinum and given her a Grammy!

Old friend, it's so nice to feel you hold me again, no it doesn't matter where you have been, my heart welcomes you back home again... WOW!! I listened to this song again I had to post another comment. This is by far the most emotion filled song of hers. I insisted that my cousin listen to this song she'd never heard any of Ms. Hyman's music and her only words afterwards was "WOW, I love it. I knew she would. I love, love, love, love this song. God has welcomed you back home again!!!!! R.I.P

I thought I loved Phyllis Hyman but after watching the show I love her even more. It still hurts me to this day that she is gone. I can listen to her music sometimes and just be in love, but sometimes I hear it and the tears fill my eyes. Iam so glad she has the legacy of her music. I love u Phyllis. I wish you were still here but continue to sing for the Lord!!!!!!!!!

True star, icon, and woman. The the industry had to be crazy to write her off.She needs a Biographical film made, like yesterday. She would inspire so many people.

Phyllis didn't get the promotion that she should have gotten from Arista. Clive Davis blew this one. He didn't know what to do with Phyllis. I thank Norman Conners for bring her out. She was a true Diva. |
