To brocliffclgi : (8) For starters try putting Urself in the shoes of a comic book hero who can travel thru time and go shopping 4 free in every mall or market place ( of course we know that God is greater than anything we can imagine therefore this illustration does not even begin to capture the concept of what God's wardrobe would look like ).I know U truly love God but U just have been taught the wrong things concerning this topic. I would remember U in my prayers brother. Much Love.

To brocliffclgi :(7)Most of the ideas that are on fashion runways come from God because every good thing comes from God. God put them in the minds of the fashion designers although they may be ignorant of that fact.U want to know what designer clothing God is wearing in heaven?.

To brocliffclgi :(6) Jesus saw fashion in the future and the past before he came on earth. He saw black suits and he knew young Christians years in thefuture would wear timbs, tennis shoes and baseball shirts and no one would wear robes but he didn't tell his disciples in the future folks would dress differently so dress this way or that way. He himself saw cooler looking fashion in the future but he decided to wear the fashion of the time because those where the people he wanted to reach.

To brocliffclgi :(5)Jesus wore robes at the time because that was what Jews wore at that time. If he didn't come then but came now he would have worn a Black Suit and Black hat because that's how Jews dress now. Not as a rule but because he has to dress like those he wants to reach out to.Don't U thnk Jesus knew and could see the beinging and the end. In Revelation 1:8 he said "I am Alpha and Omega" ( dat means the begining and the end ).

To brocliffclgi :(4)If God was so facinated and fixed on white, no other color would have exsisted. Everything in the world would be white. Imagine if everyone in the world was one race .., everything was one color, a world without a rainbow, no artistic paintings in galleries ; do U think the world would be as fun as it is now.God also loves variety of clothing as far as U are clean and decent. Decent as in clothes that do not expose parts of your body that should be covered.

To brocliffclgi :(3)Also do U think dat in Heaven everyone is wearing white robes and for all eternity God would sit in heaven with a white robe. Look at Exodus 28: 2 - 8 ( especially verses 5 and 6 which show God demanding variety of COLOR in the robe the priest was to wear). U have to understand that God is the Chief Artist because he is the Chief Creator [Genesis 1: 1]and [Proverbs 8: 22 - 30 (note the word MASTER CRAFTSMAN in verse 30)]. He created color. There is beauty in variety of color.

To brocliffclgi : (2)Jesus allowed a woman pour an expense perfume on his hair and feet [Mark 14: 3 - 9]. Do U think he would say no to Hair Gel. No man with long hair can keep his hair neat without some kind of hair cream or gel.The Jews at the time had their own local version of hair gel which might even be better that what is available today after all they had real good scenting perfume.
alfredbenjamin (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
To brocliffclgi : (1)Sir, could U back up Ur belief that it's wrong to ( wear baggie jeans, timbs and keep stylish hair which is just a result of Hair Gel) with the word of God. Give me a scripture. Or please let us reason together [Isaiah 1 : 18].I understand where U R coming from but U have to understand God seeks those who worship him in spirit and in truth [John 4 : 23 - 24] and not those hang on to doctrines that have no foundation in God's word.
