No Debka is Arabic dance but Jews like to dance it since Israel is sorrounded by Arab countires and cuz of many Jews who lived in Arab countries. Israeli Jewish/Hebrew fol dance is the Horah, Rikud Temani, and Klezmer dance.

the debkah have gypsy background, the gypsys brought to turkey, and turkey spread the dance in the others levantine country(Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan).

Well, since the choreographer lives in New York, you might also claim it is an American dance. There is a real mitzrachi influence though in much Israeli music, because of people who returned to the land from Arab controlled countries.
