I remember this - and have not seen it since it was on TV. This was the special where he does the competitive diving and wins with a cannonball. I've got clips from his first Special back in 77 on my site. They are rough quality - but it took me years to find them. Check them out.

This is great...When my husband and I were dating I saw this on TV he didn't. He never beleived me until now. This is my husbands favorite song and when I tried to tell him that Steve Martin did it on TV with the chimps, he thought I was crazy or stoned!
