yep, that's Naka sensei. he's great! but one time i kicked him in the face with a reverse double mawashigeri, and he got really mad. he said next time he sees me he's gonna choke me out.

in my humble experience, and i've only been in about 325 street and bar fights, when the attackers attack, they punch and leave their fists out there so i can grab them, or they kick and then wait for me to punch them. they usually just do one technique. sometimes they even announce where they're going to attack me, like face, or stomach, or even, "front kick to chuudan." it's incredible, just like in my karate classes!

They attack with right hooks. Almost never with complete straight punches. People do not attack like it's practised in normal karate.

Phil thats looks like shotokan, i practice for 22 years shotokan, and i know very good the diferents schools of shoto

did anybody notice that Nao Morooka is in this video? i don't think she's JKA Shotokan--she's either Shito-Kai or Wado-Kai. so what's she doing in this vid? does she train in both schools?

you're wrong, i've been in many street fights, and they all attack like robots. they punch and then just stay there until i kick them. they also wait their turn to attack me instead of attacking all at once.
