No theres another time when it only girls, and thats when Eiko and Dagger go off into one of the elemental shrines toward the end of the game.

Yeah, definitely. I chose Male only partly because you almost always have a Male character in your party. The one and only part that I can think of where you don't is when you have to use Beatrix and Freya when the party is escaping from Alexandria in disc 2.

And depending on your rules, Black Waltz 1 could be VERY difficult in female only.

Yeah, getting into the game now has made me realise that Female only is harder at least in the early stages of the game like the sections where you can only use Dagger.
